Sign up at app.coilchat.com with your work email and a workspace name. You'll land in the dashboard as the owner — no credit card needed. Set your bot's name, greeting, and brand color under Settings → Agent whenever you like.
Your AI answers from what you give it. Head to Sources and add one:
CoilChat cleans, chunks, and embeds everything automatically. Watch it index in real time on the Sources page.
Open Install, copy your snippet, and paste it before </body>. That's the whole integration.
Theme it light or dark, set the position, launcher label, and starter chips under Settings → Widget. Restrict it to your domains on the Install page.
Under Settings you can shape behaviour without touching code: custom instructions and tone, grounding strictness (how sure it must be before answering), inactivity follow-ups, and an AI fallback so unclaimed chats are never stranded after hours. Pick your model under Model.
Add teammates on the Team page with owner, admin, or agent roles, and group them into departments. They handle escalations live from the Inbox — and every chat they resolve is distilled into knowledge for your review on the Learned page. Approve it, and the AI uses it next time.
